The talk will be moderated by Hannes Egger. He will talk to Dumoulin about his artistic practice and his main influences.

The artist
Marc-Alexandre Dumoulin (*1982 in Montréal, Canada) lives and works in Vienna. He studied Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montréal and at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. Dumoulin's work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe and North America.
With his painting, he persistently searches for the unfathomable, where the surface of the canvas becomes an excavation site, a place where he digs deeper and deeper until the image comes to the surface. Dumoulin's paintings, drawings, and etchings are thoughts that reveal their complexity through the sensual connection of colors, themes, and formats.

Participation in the Artist Talk is free of charge. Registration is requested at: info@villaarnica.com
